CJ, here is what Bentway's article claims: a) If global warming is real, then government intervention is necessary to fix it. b) Conservatives hate government intervention. c) Therefore, they must believe that global warming is not real. (a) is false because government intervention cannot "fix" global warming any more than they can turn back the tides. (b) is false because, just like there are cases where liberals hate government intervention, there are cases where conservatives love government intervention. (c) is false because even if (b) were true, it doesn't mean conservatives have to deny (a). Tenchusatsu
