ARNIE: Look at NXTL's volume, it's happening again. Who's selling?

comment: your prior posts were good, like normal. I even read something like smile?

Arnie, just to let you know that I am still lurking, still long on Nextel but is leaning more toward the bearish side.

Craig should give you an award for your loyalty.

This sector is growing so fast and technology is advancing in all directions. ATT made a bad choice and compounded the error by not making any changes earlier. They are going to lose their #1 cellular subscriber spot (US) in the immediate future and may not even be in the top five within a couple of years. Nextel, at number two, will be reduced to the niche player role.

I suspect that when Nextel finally turns a profit, hopefully some time next year, it will be the end of the run and time to exit, if not sooner. There should be some profit but I doubt sincerely that Nextel would ever meet your lofty expectations within your "long term" time frame.
