Yeah- I've met some people like that. But I've met a hellofalot of assholes. And the assholes left more of an impression.

I don't think either of us is talking about specific people. Lots of very very nice religious people. I understand that often they are the best people trying to do what they see as live the most decent of lives e.g. Jimmy Carter. But the system itself leads to abuse and tyranny. And those who use religion for such, are bad folks e.g. Dark Ages, Spanish Inquisition, witches and heretics; and the Muslim religion has a very harsh doctrine that abuses women terribly. And they are both anti intellectual. And we can not longer afford to be anti intellectual.
