<matter of fact one would have to be partially deranged
to make sense of my posts.>

then you have a home on TSO...

I think Patrick has a sensitive nature when it comes to certain things..and has not read enough of TSO to understand the gist of how this thread and the inhabitants operate.

<I have overstepped those guidelines several times and it seems to cause conflict and
dissruption.>

Depends on the person. Some people love it and some people get offended. You have to know your audience.

I sensed the the split ruined the effectiveness of your animals, and that is a shame because they had a lot of promise on the OEX.

So since the OEX is exiting out of the spotlight...are any of the others that you mentioned becoming a primary focus OR will it be all of them?

btw, anyone know about futures options? I see that on CME...No, I am not touching futures...or whatever these options are...but I would just like to know.

Good morning Nemer

>>It appears that I have disturbed Patrick from the SS thread and had no intention to do so<<

I did read your post and found nothing that should have upset anyone -- much less pointed than some of my questioning posts that have upset people in the past. I think Lisa is right that it has more to do with understanding the inter-actions on this thread, which tend to be rather irreverant at the best of times and takes some getting used to. I remember a couple of people who posted some time back that they felt that unless one was part of the "in" crowd one was not welcome here--- which quite surprised me.

>>I don't have on my agenda to try to convert anyone to my method of thinking-------matter of fact one would have to be partially deranged to make sense of my posts<<

Reminds me of a time recently when I stopped posting my signals because it seemed noone was interested and I said so in a post and suddenly got about half a dozen responses telling me that they were greatly valued--which surprised me. Now it could, of course, have been me posting to myself under different user-names--which has been known to happen on SI:)

>>I think that my first post to Cousin Ike typifies my approach to the interchange of ideas on SI. I told him I had come to learn, not to teach. I have overstepped those guidelines several times and it seems to cause conflict and dissruption. <<

I plead guilty on both counts--in fact I have posted more than once that one of the things that I look to do is to "borrow" others ideas to improve my trading. And I have been know to cause conflict and disruption though I try not to make a habit of it:)

>>As you know, I'm currently unhappy with the "new" OEX since the split.

Here's a thought for you--use the SPX to generate your signals since it did not split. I have found that the two indexes mirror each other in terms of buy and sell signals
