We stayed at the North Rim campground last September, and it's by far one of my favorite campgrounds in the National Park System. The North Rim is much more like the Rockies, and MUCH less populated by humanity. You're pretty much boondocking it, but water is available, and the general store and showers are nearby. Here's a view of what you can expect if you're an early riser!
