But sometimes you have to soft pedal on diplomacy, because it's a house of cards.
I responded to the "house of cards" nonsense already. Anyone following the news can already tell you that the house has collapsed.

Oh, but that money must be preventing a war with Israel, right? Get real, neither the Egyptian military nor Morsi and his Brotherhood is in any position to threaten Israel nor guarantee that the violence won't spill over in that direction.

I'm sure a year or two from now, Bob Woodward will give us a great narrative on how totally inept the State Dept. was in dealing with all of the recent events in Egypt. That is, if Obama hasn't already told everyone to give him the cold shoulder.
