KLA-Tencor Corporation Announces Common Stock Repurchase Plan SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1997--KLA-Tencor Corporation today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to 200,000 shares of its common stock on the open market from time to time and is in connection with the implementation of the Company's new employee stock purchase plan. Shares of common stock will be repurchased for issuance pursuant to this new employee stock purchase plan. This repurchase plan is part of the Company's continuing effort to reduce dilution resulting from the Company's stock plans and is in addition to the Repurchase plan announced previously on August 21, 1997.
