Hi Bill, There was 14.4 million Barrick shares alloted for the deal. There was 36.3 million shares outstanding at the time of the buy-out. It was oversubscribed so they gave each shareholder an offer of either $30.00 cash or .79 of a Barrick share and $0.50 cash for 72% of their shares tendered and $30.00 cash for the balance.

Cheers

Shirley
