A Look At TSSW's Fundamentals ( AS of Friday's Close )

Price Ratios:
-------------
1) Price to Sales: TSSW: 2.11 Industry: 10.78 Lower is Better
Target Using Industry Avg = ( 10.78 / 2.11 ) * $2.44 = $12.47

2) Price to Book: TSSW: 1.80 Industry: 13.87 Lower is Better
Target Using Industry Avg = ( 13.87 / 1.80 ) * $2.44 = $18.80

Industry Price to Earnings Ratio is 53.35.
Industry Price to Cash Flow Ratio is 39.19

Looking for a return to profits soon. IMO in the 4th qtr and a bigger profit in the following 1st qtr

The reason the stock sells at such a steep discount is the fact that TSSW has not reported a profit in 8 qtrs. The last time, the company launched its new products. . TSSW reported a profit for over 7 qtrs and the stock jumped to over $16.

**TSSW is launching 3 new products. During the next qtr, PC-Cillin 3 will be on in over 9000 retail outlets for the entire qtr and TSSW will have its very popular Checkit Version 5 in about 6000 stores for about 6 weeks. Several other products doing well also. See PC Data Computing list of best selling product. Checkit Diagnostic made the top 10 selling products for its category in Oct. Nov results will be released in Jan.
** Good reward / risk play imo.

David, another turnaround you may want to look into is TEAL. Until earnings are released, it may be too early to say the company's business is turning around, but the stock should go up from here.

TEAL was a high flyer, trading as high as $23 in February around the time the company did a secondary offering. The company is cash rich, and has no debt. As of Sept 30, cash value is $3/share (thanks to the IPO, and secondary offering).

At less than $2, the downside risk is minimal. Like many companies whose stocks dropped significantly, class action suits have been filed against TriTeal.

Managment was perhaps inexperienced for this small company. The sales force could not execute and didn't follow through with certain accounts. As a result, last Q was horrible, which quickly brought the stock down from 8 - 4. Tax loss selling has further depressed its stock.

My understanding is its products are excellent. Trade magazines have given rave reviews of the company's products.
