Naturally, the corporate Capitalistic World, want to increase their profit margin which requires either the increase prices, reduce the production cost of producing the goods or service, or reducing the wages, fringes, and terms of conditions of employment.
Naturally, the government Ruling Class World, want to increase their size and control by increasing taxes and taking over one sixth of the economy.

Both sides are fighting over resources, but the government can do things by fiat making the fight unfair.

First thing I would do is mandate that no government job, elected or otherwise can be paid more than their private sector counterpart.

Next, I would mandate that all government expenditures, every single check the government writes, be public knowledge in a searchable public database. Fraud would diminish rapidly.

Next I would mandate all regulations created by every agency be passed as separate bills through congress and every bill in congress be read aloud by the persons submitting the bills.

That's a start.

The State provides the substandard education. The State is the biggest profit taking entity in the country. Their profits exceed the top private companies by factors of 100x. It's State Crony Capitalism. The State is the problem, not small businesses in comparison to it.
