Well, he said he had not contacted SEEC or VIAS yet. I will pass this along to him. His call was to PTUS.

However, I noticed something in the SEEC literature. What do you think they mean by this:

From the SEEC website:

* "Smart Change 2000 automatically generates renovated code. Comments are included in the code, showing which statements have been changed and which are "unresolved" and require manual inspection."

* note this is clearly after the conversion has taken place. It seems to suggest that they may have unresolved statements that then have to be addressed with some kind of manual intervention. Sounds similar to what PTUS offers.

This sounds like manual intervention to me.

I never said anybody else's tools did not work. Where did you get that from ?

You said PTUS can automatically convert code like CSGI can and that is not true. (notice you didn't want to talk about PTUS hmmmm.)

"Because of competitive claims and successful pilots by more visible vendors, that's why." - TED

well, that is why ConSyGen's stock price is this low. Once more contracts are announced and more vendors use the CSGI toolset, then we will see. We already know they are talking to more "teaming partners" since Ron Bishop indicated that one of them was at CSGI for a demo.

I have never said that CSGI's tool is the only one to work. That is ridiculous for you to even suggest.

However, I will say that when you claimed that PTUS could convert 100% of the code without any manual intervention, you were WRONG.

CSGI's toolset works and if it is not the only one that can automatically convert code with no manual intervention, then it is only among a few out there that can.
