Mr. McLeod has been with Revolution since inception, serving on the Board of Directors and as the Company's Vice President of Exploration. "I look forward to the challenge of advancing our outstanding portfolio of gold projects in the Carolina Slate Belt, and copper-gold targets in the Sierra Madre, Mexico," said Rob McLeod, President and CEO. "Over my career as VP Exploration of Underworld Resources, Full Metal Minerals, and Atna Resources, I have generated in excess of 20 joint ventures and have led my exploration teams in multiple discoveries." Mr. McLeod comes from a well-known mining family, born and raised in Stewart, BC. He is a Professional Geologist with 20 years of diverse exploration and development experience. He gained extensive experience several major and junior mining companies including Homestake, INCO and Barrick in a variety of tectonic and metallogenic environments. He was previously a senior geologist for Miramar Mining, part of the team responsible for multiple gold discoveries and resource expansions in the Hope Bay Greenstone Belt in Nunavut. As VP Exploration for Atna Resources, he was instrumental in assembling a portfolio of Nevada gold Properties including the Pinson Mine. Since 2003, he founded and has been VP Exploration and Director for several junior mining companies including Full Metal Minerals and Underworld Resources, the latter having discovered Golden Saddle and Arc Deposits in the White Gold District, Yukon. In 2010, Underworld was acquired by Kinross for $140 million. As VP Exploration for Revolution Resources since 2011, Mr. McLeod assembled the Champion Hills gold portfolio in North Carolina, resulting in multiple gold discoveries. He completed his B.Sc. Geology from UBC in 1993, and M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queens University in 1998. Mr. McLeod is an active volunteer in the Vancouver Mining Community, including with AMEBC and the Britannia Mine Museum. He is also an independent director for Gold Standard Ventures and Independence Gold Corp, and has been a member of Casey Research's NexTen list of Explorers.
