Terrence, I have no idea what you are taking about. My statement was a response to Skipper's child's emphasis on life being empty without competition, if I recall correctly. I think competition is great, don't get me wrong, but not everyone competes equally well, and so I also believe compassion is important, and that the world is cold and empty without it.

Your throwing in hot tubs is either just a glib reply on the spur of the moment, or the rationalist ideals of the Ask John Galt thread do not translate very well over here, because frankly it is totally illogical to me.

Would you like to try explaining in different words?
