I spent time in Alabama (well, Tuscaloosa, if that's still considered a part of the state), and I know that the folks in that lovely state would never even think of bustin' on the turistas. Fact is, the folks I met down there were so unfailingly kind to this poor dumb yankee (never even had grits before I went down there) that it took me two months to recover from the culture shock after I left. And I have seen T-shirts and bumper stickers saying "Eat More Possum", though I'm not quite sure what they meant, exactly. Oh, yeah - Possum and Prejudice, Inherit the Possum, Possum of the Year, Flying by the Seat of my Possum, Possum is my Co-pilot, Possum and the Switchblade, Brave Possums, Possum Four, The Possum Never Blinks, The Possum and I, My Life Among the Possums. Just in case anyone really likes the possumbilities...
