Nokia reported 21% GM for Smart Devices, with a 20m EU one-time inventory allowance benefit. I did the rest of the math myself.

I agree with you on lower ASP and lower GM sequentially. Volumes should continue to increase, though, appeasing you market share junkies.

I'll be very surprised if ASPs and GMs in Q3 are not lower than Q2.

Others are now expecting the worst. Remember, guidance was for an increase in D&S REVENUE and flat Operating Margin QoQ, so on balance, any decline in ASP should be offset by volume. Personally, I don't know if I expect "plunging" ASP-- low end 520 already represented a large part of the mix in Q2 to have caused smartphone ASP to drop below $200 as it was. Another 10% drop would not surprise me, but not a lot more than that.
