The confusion most people in the West are having is between the liberal movement that sparked the so-called Arab Spring, and the radical Islamists who saw it as an opportunity to launch a separate movement to establish a World Wide Califate. Liberals in Egypt have caught on, after the voting public was duped by the MB initially. Prior to the revolutionary movements, each of these countries was ruled by a Tyrant backed by a strong military. They used strong arm tactics to imprison or execute any type of political dissident, which included but was not limited to Islamic radicals. That all changed with the revolutions. Now, we all have to come to terms with the new dynamics. President Obama has been hesitant about labeling anything terrorism, but at some point he or his predecessor are going to have to deal with it. What is happening in Egypt and elsewhere isn't work place violence.
