I'm sure this puppy will move the other direction! Let's hope that those who want to sell do so before the big move up. I'd love to buy some more shares at $8!

Well Bill, it's an assumption that short covering is even taking place. The merger deal is only a month old. Short sellers can hold out longer than that. There is no way that GT is going to gain back what it lost easily. Look at it this way, MPRS uses the whole merger deal as a scapegoat for their earnings this quarter. At some point though it did cost something for GT to enter this deal and thus it's money down the drain. After all lawyers don't come cheap and they are the only ones who made anything on this. All in all a hit to the bottom line. Sorry, but there's no justification for GT to go up, none at all. As you stated, the whole GT/MPRS deal came together just as GT announced to the world that they couldn't make a schedule with Unreal if their life depended on it. It is going to take more than a few really old PC games like Duke ported to the PSX to keep the earnings flowing. I think there are a lot of people like me who just didn't like what went down and said "to hell with it" and are getting out. I for one am not one of those. I have nothing to lose by holding on for another year or so. However, I am not patient when it comes to things such as this busted deal.
