Maybe that is the only way you can get anyone to buy a Windows Phone. Maybe that is the only way you can get anyone to buy a Windows Phone NOW. I'm a pretty big fan of the platform, and the 521 is good enough to make me buy 3 of them for my family plan. Unfortunately, it's also good enough that I can't see myself ever spending 4-5 times as much for a high end Lumia. On the other hand, my wife is intending to switch to the next $630 iPhone as soon as it comes out. Nokia might have started a price war with no one but itself.
