"If Bernstein's thesis is correct"

It isn't!

Amazing that market reacts to such nonsense as Bernstein's thesis that W8 volumes peaked in Q2.

As the most recent Adduplex data implies (i.e. W8 phones of 3.7 million in July), W8 phone volumes continue to grow rapidly in Q3. Not only are W8 (i.e Lumia) volumes growing rapidly, but so also, is their proportion of Lumia's to the overall Nokia phone volume mix....and that strongly implies an improving overall ASP notwithstanding the negative spin many are placing on the huge success Lumia 520/521 is enjoying!

It's astonishing that the naysayers can hold so much sway (albeit very short term) stemming from their irrational negativity....W8 volumes, especially nl 520/521 are enjoying record volume performance and are a very real threat to anything the competition has in their price range...yet somehow that can be bad for NOK? Bernstein is kidding right?
