Emile, I am glad this strange little hurricane has blown over, but now there is rubble everywhere which the Lord would have us clean up.

I have been in such wonder over the discussions flying back and forth, I was sure they were going to solve themselves.
All I am left with is a feeling that we can only now get to what is really behind it all. Nancy having to almost gently suggest to you or Robert that there were things in the Old Testament that might be of benefit to you at first was so strange I just thought, "how weird, that's like you'd try to explain something to a pagan". Then the thought that any follower of Jesus Christ would even dream of having to gently explain the value of the Old Testament and the prophets struck me as so funny I was laughing to the point of choking.

Well, anyway, you have brought up the Talmud enough that my curiousity is terribly up now. What I cannot understand and beg you to explain before God, so we can all clear the air here, what prompted you to deny their Christianity based on the Talmud?

I know you have reasons, but I think it's only fair you share them, because I sure would like to hear them, in direct relationship to Alan and most especially Nancy, and the repeated references to their Talmudism. I am confused, very confused.

I know we had a couple of Jewish lurkers who did the reverse
neo-nazi thing with me, because of your views, and so I feel that I
at least have the right to know what these things are that triggered the three strangest days of Christian conversations I have ever witnessed.

I think something is very wrong here, and I know our God is
quite capable of fixing it. It may be just a little fix. Or a huge one.
But something seems broken. I'm serious. Certainly the fellowship was, and that to me is so hard to understand. Why? Why after you saw Nancy's words, and quite obviously it's pretty hard to fake a knowledge and understanding of the scriptures, because it is nearly impossible to use them correctly without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Other than that, it's all scripture spouting, and usually is hollow and empty. Yet, you and Robert saw that and kept going on and on about the Talmud. You did anyway, and now can we please talk about it?

My question: what is in the Talmud that makes the knowledge of it so dangerous. What is it?
