Thanks for the feedback! Eye shall I those routes most carefully.

Just got into a timeshare recently that let's us stay at various places about the globe, with very good rates for picking up cancellations/underbookings in a 2wk window. Was looking at the routes from here to Palm Springs and noticed that you had to puddle-jump from LAX no matter which way you went. Whipped out the atlas and saw that Ontario had an international about 50mi from the Springs and the fare was even less than the LAX routes, so as you say, checking the fine points can indeed be rewarding.

Now, you're (as I understand it) quite the J Bond. This is a subject I really don't know much about, other than you buy the bond and get ~ 6% out when they mature. I understand that there are other ways to get amplified returns from bonds; do you use any such method, or do you just let it compound? Where's a good source to find out about Fun with Bonds?
