There are those who would prefer we work until we die. I reckon if all my hospitals took 6% out of every check, matched it, invested it in tax-free UST's in one account, and called it a pension, I could retire without being a clot on society, but, cuz they put it in the account labeled SSA, I am one; a parasite, an enemy of the big picture, an embolus in the carotid artery of the body politic.
Unfortunately, due to a series of rather dire and bizarre twists of fate late in life, I found mice elf paying taxes on investment income this year, so I'm now more of a dissolving clot.

for ~14 more years. Get off my back.
The government spent that SS a long time ago. People are paying your SS who will never get it, you are on their backs.

Unfortunately, the folks who are working today are paying for your SS. Too bad our government stole all the money to fund it's own deficits. So stating the truth about SS isn't getting on your back. That's a copout. Stating the truth is the first step to acknowledging we have a problem, so that it can be fixed and so that my kids will enjoy SS when they get older, just as you are enjoying it now.
