Yes, that's the paper market - futures and probably GLD as well.

Interesting article on zerohedge - I have read similar articles in the last week or two.
Main takeaway is that England doesn't produce any gold - so it is either the Bank of England and/or the bullion banks sending physical gold east.
Those taking possession (India, China, mainland Europeans) have no intention whatsoever of sending it back anytime within the foreseeable future.
