Speculating about Nokia D&S's ASPs and Margins QoQ & YoY ... << Will Nokia show higher or lower ASPs in Q3 than Q2? Will Nokia show higher or lower margins in Q3 than Q2? >> TBH I have not given it much thought since there are 5 full weeks left in the Quarter and 9 weeks until Q3 earnings are announced. At the moment I would expect them to at least meet midpoint of the broad D&S guidance offered in Q2 ... ... and likely exceed that midpoint, but I don't expect them to blow out the numbers by any means although I do expect D&S Net Sales to be up sequentially but not YOY. I assume we will be looking at another record quarter for Lumia unit volumes and Sales. ASPs and margins will, of course, be dependent upon product mix and pricing actions taken for portfolio segments both operating units of D&S. Below is a worksheet with 2 different cuts at Q2 nd Q3 historical performance I use to track positive or negative progress of the Smart Devices segment. All currency conversions made at Interbank rate for the appropriate quarter ending period.
