Hi Joe: If you remember I questioned the results of Q3 which were much worse than Q4. Some real creative accounting was employed with that one. The real loss was much greater than reported, in my opinion.

As I've previously stated, the lack of information availabe from Novell makes it impossible to accurately predict, with any degree of certainty, present or future earnings. I am amazed, however, at how close some have come to guessing the results several times.

Maybe there's a master plan that will unfold in '98 that will be a rebirth of Novell and they will dominate the network marketplace thereafter. Sure there is.

Looking for the break-even price and a chance to bail.

Regards,

Elmo
