Excuse me, you've posted about sawing down the barrel of a shotgun and rigging it to carry on a sling under a coat. You wear a coat in your house a lot? You need to hide your gun in your own home?

It's the legal absolute minimum length. It was a goose gun and had a barrel 10 miles long. I've got it on a shoulder sling. It's real easy to carry under a coat concealed.

So we know this was a lie:

"my guns never leave my house, where I keep them for home defense. I certainly don't carry them around being a self-appointed "neighborhood watchman"!"

Oh yeah, Zimmerman was ASKED to be a neighborhood watchman by the head of his homeowners association. Their newsletter referred to him as the "captain" of the neighborhood watch program.

Bentway,
I've never made any such promise. Other than occasional target shooting with my pistol, my guns never leave my house, where I keep them for home defense. I certainly don't carry them around being a self-appointed "neighborhood watchman"! I hope I NEVER have to use them.
So you promise only to use your guns for defending your own home.

And if someone you don't know walks around near your home, you promise to ask first and shoot later? What about if you get into a road rage incident on the way to the shooting range?

Come on, dude, if you can't trust a guy like George Zimmerman to carry around a gun, why should anyone trust you? Because you're not a "self-appointed neighborhood watchman"? That's an artificial line.
