The defense in the Trayvon Martin case, and the decision-makers in the mainstream media, spent months attempting to convince us that George Zimmerman is a racist, despite the fact that there is a mountain of evidence to the contrary (including the fact that he and his wife frequently championed blacks when they believed they were the victims of discrimination). Yet the killing of Martin was consistently portrayed as being race-based. James Edwards, one of the killers of Chris Lane, repeatedly used graphic language on Twitter about hating, and wanting to kill, 'nasty white people'. Yet the killing of Lane is simply evidence of the need for more gun control. Go figure.
