TO ALL LMX Resources oil exploration activities have been written up in two different publications. The first of which was the December 5, 1997 issue(Vol. 95, No. 49) of the OIL and Gas Journal said by many to be the world's most widely read and respected petroleum industry publication. This magazine comes out weekly and their latest edition has an article entitled " Drilling round starts in western Newfoundland". While this story discusses a number of companies that are drilling in the area; 75% of it is specifically about LMX Resources. Also taking note of LMX is Doig's Digest, (Canada's leading independent oil & gas newsletter). Ian Doig reported on the company's activities in Newfoundland and refers to the well recently spudded by LMX as " a well of some interest" in his December 1997 issue. It is nice to see that the oil exploration that the company is doing is getting the attention of publications of this stature that don't usually look at the small cap companies.
