David: How much does (could ?) CUBE's MPEG-2 DVx single codec decode, as well as their
DVx encode/decode chip, reflect on their bottom line ?

Thanks

BTW: Was there anything new in CUBE's recent 10-Q (dated 11/14/97) which could have in theory
contributed to 'her'most recent easing ?

China will not devalue yuan: Zhu Rongji, AFX, Monday, December 08, 1997 at 19:11

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Chinese Vice Premier Zhu Rongji said the renminbi will not be devalued.
"I can solemnly declare that the Chinese RMB will not be devalued," Zhu told Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew in a meeting in Singapore. The official Xinhua news agency in a dispatch monitored here reported that Zhu said China is concerned about the financial turmoil in the region but added that he is optimistic about the prospects of the Chinese economy.
Zhu said China will implement necessary measures, improve the competitiveness of the nation's export products and extend great efforts to further reduce tariffs in order to provide more favorable conditions for foreign investors.
