If it makes you feel good, do it. What you do doesn't make anyone feel good....

I find liberal's compassion to be a pretense put up to make themselves feel good

.....and here's the classic example of just that.

first........from your earlier post

The Asian people have not walked an easy path, in this country or outside of it. They usually come here from destitute poverty. They are not handed anything. They are not immune from prejudice and discrimination. They are not white. Yet Asians make up 5 percent of the overall population and 17 percent of doctors and surgeons. They account for 18 percent of Ivy League school admissions. Asians own 1.5 million businesses. The most “offensive” Asian stereotype is that they get good grades and can’t drive..

.......all very true..............and I want everyone here to think about this.......... my now ex friend and his far leftist wife (Prius driving librarian) adopted two very young Korean children about 25 years ago. Here's some background on how it all turned out.

The elder girl (now about 28) just completed a 5 year NO DEGREE program at a local college. She works part time tending bar and has hooked up with a semi pro ball player that just got busted selling dope. She lives at home. She has no skills of note and once she loses her youthful good looks can only look forward to a healthy inheritance. The younger boy (about 26) somehow got diagnosed with some kind of learning disability and is partially on the govt. dole. He also works part time and spends the rest playing video games and watching the military channel on cable. He and his buddy liken themselves to that Harold and Kumar duo from the movies all the way down to the White Castle fetish. He also lives at home and has hair down below his shoulders. Overweight, he recently he was diagnosed with diabetes. Now he mostly mopes around ....apparently not even attempting to control his diabetes. Did these two benefit by getting adopted by American liberal parents? I think not. Was their adoption meant to improve the children's lot......or make the adoptive parents feel good. From the results.....how can one be sure??
