There is ONE, and only one, driving principle: hate Obama and whatever he does. They are like an endlessly spinning compass... if Obama takes a position or an action - they are instantly against it. If he reverses his position - they instantly reverse too, so as to still be in opposition. No matter if Obama flip-flopped a world record of times on some thing, (taking more positions than a Mitt out fund raising :-), they would seamlessly change positions right along with him... and rapidly lose conscious memory of the sequence of their shifts. And, yes... it is pretty amusing to watch.
