I don't trade short term and have been 100% long since last december except for a short period in June when I went flat by selling half of my stocks and going 2x short the Russell 2000 in June. That short didn't work out well and I went 100% long in early July. I also bought a ton of Silver/Gold in late June that has worked out very well. My only loser is a 3x etf on India which has gotten crushed due to currency. No regrets except that I sold off FB in June at 26 which is now 41. Good luck with your model. I know its done good for you.
