i have day traded cpq, intc and amat recently with some nice profits on each stock.
i am now establishing a long term position in cpq.
my question to any and all out there is "why are intc and cpq lagging in their recovery?"

my thoughts are that intc is still down because of a major drop in chip prices and cpq is down because of fear that dell's continuing success in gaining market share could be at cpq's expense.

does anyone have any alternate thoughts on these comments?

any idea of the time frame before cpq and intc rebound to their highs?

any idea why i ask such foolish questions?

Mukti....nice to see the intraday wild volatility finally subsiding in CPQ. Certainly we are due for a move up, even GTW is up nearly 3 today. That puts the GTW per share at about the same as CPQ post-split. I KNOW which one I'd rather own at 32 1/2! BTW, CNBC had a PaineWebber analyst on today touting CPQ as their favorite tech pick. Mukti,

I read about a Mr. Mukti Samal on Finnancial Times. He is a Bengali
stock broker that has recently left his native India to manage a
chain of dime stores in London! Any relationship?

Kind regards,

Yaacov
