…but some day I will see the hardwoods change color in Autumn in New England. And the color can be absolutely glorious. That said, the last time we were there the color in upstate New York was way better. Whenever we go "leaf peeping" (that's what they call it), we try to time our arrival with Columbus Day. Flying into Boston, renting a car and going upstate VT or NH and take your time moving south. This seems to be the best proximate time to enjoy New England's color. And hope that there's not too much rain. :)
