The Middle East is a mess. Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Hamas, Palestine/Israel ... no telling what spark could set off total chaos, instead of just regular chaos. Cruise Missiles create sparks.

I agree. They should be based (partially) on what Putin might do.

I don't think Putin will do much of anything. He has his hands full with the mess over the Olympics and the mess the Russian economy has become once again.
