Longnshort, probably because no waiter wanted to wait on all of them for no tip. they are the worse tippers usually leaving zero. Talk to a waiter or waitress, talk to 20 of them Get real, I can already imagine the awkwardness of asking a waiter, "Excuse me, but can you please tell me whether you think black people are lousy tippers?" Why not also kick out large groups of French tourists? They have the reputation for being rude, arrogant, and stingy. Kicking out a large group of customers because they might not tip well is just plain stupid. No need to justify such an action, especially in the highly-competitive restaurant business where there are plenty of alternatives. Tenchusatsu
