VXX, time to star watching again. Nearing its 52 week lows. Market is strong, to say the least so be careful if jumping in front of the steady downtrend. As we get closer to a potential double top in the SPY/S+P, there may be a good chance for short term gains. Best to play intraday or if your feeling like adding tons of risk, buy at the end of the day for a pop the next morning. XIV has been the play but that could change if we get a short term top and associated profit taking. Should be interesting to see if we run into October earnings or we back off first.
