Several factors:

The fact that my system is on a buy signal creates a bias to the upside--would never have done the trade if my system was on a sell signal

Kevins #s and 8100 on the DOW should offer support

The internals of the market looks good despite the weakness in the DOW, OEX and SPX; some of the other indices are acting well

SPZ is acting well so far

Call premiums are not declining despite the sell-off and put premiums are not increasing.

Very limited profit objective -- 1 1/2 points which is quite doable given the volatility--also options expiration will create volatility

Limited down-side if I am wrong on the trade

Major downside to the trade:

Less than 2 weeks to expiration makes the Dec calls vulnerable -- January was too expensive given that this was a scalp

Also the sell signal on the bonds on Friday is not the ideal scenario
