No doubt in my mind and even slowly some of the media reluctanty coming to the same conclusion, that the rebels released the gas.
Now, that said, however:


"If you back Assad you are backing Russia and Iran.
If you back the rebels, you are backing something like Islamic Brotherhood.

So it seems to me that best is just let them fight each other. Why not?
Bomb Assad a little if he seems to be getting the upper hand, and
cut supplies (one way or another) to the rebels if they seem to be winning.
Why bother to do anything else ?????


In Egypt, I like Krauthammer's analysis:
The military, if they win, will produce a big question mark (= 0.00001)

But if the Brotherhood wins you get Muslim extremism, Sharia law, etc. (= 0.0)
