It's notable that people who think wars and destruction are economic stimuli don't apply the same theory to their own houses. They don't wake up one morning and think "Hey, let's knock our house down and rebuild another one with another mortgage". Nor do they think being injured or having a child killed is a lot of fun. They are more inclined to fix the leaks and get angry at boys who put crackers in their letter box. <saving a home whole is more productive than destroying one and then rebuild it even that this action lowers unemployment. <smile>>
