I was at the gym the other day. Riding the bike. Got to talking to this guy. Obviously a liberal. He was coming up with some stuff I hadn't heard and didn't sound quite right. Something about the IRS scandal. Later disproven. After a little research I found out he was reading the NYT. LOL.

Be heartened Jim, NYT appears to be back down again. Those Syrian hackers are tough. That takes big ones. As ambivalent as I am about attacking Syria, and I keep going back and forth on that one, I think the arrogance that al-Assad and the rest of the ME autocracy manifest needs to be taken out. The ME has had centuries of corruption, violence and dictatorship first under the Ottoman Empire and now under asshole dictators with small dicks. I think if the West does nothing now, the problem will only grow bigger going forward. Not great choices but I guess they never are in these situations.
