It seems pretty clear and by far the most likely scenario that a Syrian chemical-warfare unit did it. What's not clear is if the orders came from the top, they already had carte-blanche orders, or it was a rouge action.


It's not clear at all.

And it doesn't matter anyway. Both sides are committing atrocities. They do not represent our values. Since they neither want nor appreciate our humanitarian efforts, we need to let them figure this shit out for themselves.
