Thanks for the great insight, much appreciated... that actually explains why I'm short the bonds, long the stocks, long the U.S. Dollar, and I just dumped all my long gold and silver today and went short the precious metals... I have no clue about the fundamentals that move these markets, but your analysis very clearly makes sense out of these current market positions...

Thank you Bob for the explanation. Do the treasury and MBS purchases account for a part of the current debt owned? If they are wont rising rates also impact interest payments? If they are not, how are the treasury/MBS purchases handled?
