I am calling for the US to push a UN resolution with the help of Russia and China. Once the UN verifies chemical weapons in Syria (it will), then there should be a UN resolution to secure and ultimately destroy these weapons (the technology exists). Syria should be asked to turn these weapons over to a UN contingent led by their allies Russia and China. I see this as win win for everyone - Syria saves face, Russia and China look like heroes and the US for once avoids bloodshed. Contrast this to the Rambo mentality of a hard slap on Assad's wrist along with the repercussions that will follow that we are unprepared for.
