It was because they only invited them two weeks prior and most could not change their schedule. Many were at MLK events in their home state or town. This is just another lefty lie.

Hmmmm.......was it because MLK was black? I am certain that was not the case, but I'm not the least bit surprised to see you suggest it. I think it was because they don't trust the Democratic leaders to refrain from slipping in hidden political agendas, which would really discredit their hosting of the event. Oh those poor babies: Wonder why? Former President Bill Clinton delivered one of the more memorable lines of the day: "A great democracy does not make it harder to vote than to buy an assault weapon."
