John: The problem with any of these stocks, is the people behind them. If you or I conducted our business in the manner that junior mining officials conduct theirs, we would be looking for a new profession within a very short period of time. These guys appeal to the unbridled avarice of the investor and can more or less tell them anything they want to hear. Even when the juniors are down and out, these guys can author a very creative bullshit story to keep the unhappy investors in line. Should the bear market continue in gold and some of these companies do collapse, or say Clive is removed from office. Not to worry, with three new playing cards, they will be setting up new operations as three card monte men on Broadway. Step right up and pick the card with the solid gold nugget from the CC under it and you win. The laughable thing about the whole scenario, once they have staked a corner for themselves, they may go public on one of the Canadian exchanges and a whole cadre of PR guys will be telling us how much green they can pull out of the concrete on a good day, provided their card board box doesn't blow over. It is truly amazing that Clive would show up at the San Francisco and pitch his company. It is more amazing that people would sit and listen to him. But you have to give the guy credit, with over one hundred million shares outstanding, he is going to have to work twice as hard this year as last to line up enough fools to liquify the stock next year so that some of those dusty old options can be cashed in. He is more confident of finding new fools than he is of getting the gold out of the CC. Come to think of it, if it is easier to extract gold from pockets, why bother with the complicated metallurgy of the CC. Ken
