Not all out-of-wedlock kids are single-parented. Not too many people know the wedding ring didn't come with a license and ceremony.
Give it rest Wharf, I agreed with you--it's the lack of support system(s) that often come with single parentage and not the marital status that are the problem. If single parents have extensive support systems kids are good to go.

The Heritage foundation study was in essence saying that two parent families have more resources and that is why they support a woman not losing welfare benefits if she marries--to gain more support systems.
