Democrats, at least those with control of the purse strings, have, with only the fewest exceptions, been guardians of good research, listened to it, and put together policy proposals that reflected it.

Please name some Democratic sponsored (social science) research that produced policy options that made it into legislative proposals--at your convenience of course.
