Steve...I was a retailer of big-ticket items and I can tell you that if you don't have the unit in stock when the customer has the $$$ in his hand, YOU LOSE THE DEAL...especially if it is an immediate gratification/entertainment-oriented unit, like a pc or a color tv. The customer is generally a little more patient on stoves, refrigerators, and other necessities. Of course the Christmas deadline adds even more pressure to the "I wanna take it out the door NOW" mentality. Stephen

Steve,

I don't know an awful lot about options, but i do know how to get the open interest of of my internet account, and the vast amount of open interest in January is in the 70, 75 and 80 strike prices.
Oh, and by the way, only about 8MM shares traded today, looks like the volume may be drying up significantly.
