I went back some years and found this post: Message 8766461 Just so you know, it's always been my position. I don't believe in interfering with civil wars. It's almost impossible to tease out who the "good guys" are- and we almost always seem to pick the worst side. I am sorry for people who live in the cesspools of the world, but not sorry enough to militarily intervene. I'm for humanitarian aid, in situations where it can be given effectively, to people who aren't our enemies, but in Syria I don't think we can figure that out. Clean hands are awfully hard to find in situations like this.
